4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on Neon PostgreSQL — a secure, encrypted cloud database hosted on AWS infrastructure. All data transmission uses TLS/HTTPS encryption. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. Payments are processed by PayPal (PayPal account or debit/credit card) — we do not handle or store card data ourselves.

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, but no system is 100% secure. We will notify you promptly if a data breach occurs that affects your personal information.

5. Cookies

We use minimal, essential storage required for authentication (JWT tokens stored in localStorage). We measure visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookieless and only reports aggregated, anonymous statistics (pages viewed, referrer, country, device type). If you accept the analytics banner, Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel also set cookies: they help us understand how the site is used and measure whether our ads on Instagram and Facebook bring quote requests. If you decline, neither is loaded. We never sell your data. You can clear your browser's localStorage at any time to remove stored session data and your analytics choice.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data via your account settings
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Export your data in a portable format
• Withdraw consent at any time
